About the Event

Keon Homes are hosting a fundraiser to raise vital funds to prevent youth homelessness in the West Midlands. Research suggests there are around 136,000 young people experiencing homelessness in the UK and around 8,500 in the West Midlands are in the West Midlands. St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, to enable them to find and keep a home, grow their confidence, develop their skills, increase opportunities and prevent homelessness.

So, can you help us move 666 miles to prevent youth homelessness? Come and join us at the iconic Chasewater to run, walk or crawl as many miles as you can so we can reach 666 miles, which is the amount of young people St Basils house every night.

A little about the challenge. Chasewater is a flat 3-mile circular route. You can do one lap or twenty – it all helps. It's open to walkers, runners & families. All are welcome. Who can do the most? There will be prizes for the most individual miles covered and for those who raise the most funds for the charity. Bar, cafe & refreshments available all day. Come join us and help us prevent youth homelessness in the West Midlands.

And, if you can't make it, you can donate to this fundraiser by visiting: - St Basils: Keon Homes' Chasewater Challenge (enthuse.com)
