June Freedom Run 5K

Race Info

Join us at the PrairieFire Campus at 135th Street in Overland Park for this new event! The race will feature a fun course and participants are encouraged to bring their families out to enjoy the Juneteenth OP event afterwards! There will be finisher medals, tshirts (not guaranteed for those registered after May 16th), and fun time had by all!

The event after the race concludes is full of even more fun with a Parade, Petting Zoo, FacePainting, Vendors, KC Wolf, etc.

• 5K Start Time: 7:30a

Packet Pickup

Location 1: Very Fit Co. 12208 Johnson Dr. Shawnee, KS. 66216
Saturday, June 7, 2025 - 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.

Location 2: Basecamp Fitness Overland Park 8661 W. 135th St. Overland Park, KS.
Thursday, June 12, 2025 4-7p.m.

Leftovers from packet pick will be taken to the race site on race morning beginning at 6:30am.

Late Registrations

• Online: Registrations are accepted online until June 12, 2025.
• Onsite: Will be available on the morning of the race beginning at 6:30am.

Shirts are only guaranteed for those who register prior to May 16, 2025.
