MedStar Health Baltimore Women's Classic 5K presented by New Balance

WELCOME TO THE 51ST BWC 5K!

The MedStar Health Baltimore Women's Classic 5K presented by New Balance is a cherished annual event, celebrating its 51st year. This race is the second-oldest all-women's race in the United States, welcoming women of all participant levels from across the country to run or walk a scenic 5K in Baltimore City, or virtually from their own location.

Referral Program:

Register online and share your unique referral link. After 5 registrants sign up using your link, your registration fee will be refunded.

Bib Mailing Option:

For in-person participants, race bibs and shirts can be mailed for an additional fee. This option closes on June 7th. Virtual participants receive their packets by mail automatically.

Packet Pickups:

Multiple pickup locations and times are available in the week leading up to the race, including on race day at Power Plant Live!.

Parking:

Various parking garages are available near the race location. Attendees are advised to plan ahead due to expected heavy traffic.

Race Day Schedule:

• 5:30 AM - Onsite registration and packet pick-up begins
• 7:20 AM - National Anthem
• 7:30 AM - Race Start
• 9:00 AM - Awards Ceremony

Post-Race Party:

Enjoy music, a complimentary drink, and a snack spread at Power Plant Live!.

Awards & Prize Money:

Cash prizes for top overall women, masters, grandmasters, and senior grandmasters. Awards also given to top finishers in various age groups. Special recognition for the largest team.

Course Information:

The 5K course has a time limit of 1 and 1/2 hours. Bikes, pets, and wheeled devices (except jogging strollers) are prohibited. Headphones are discouraged.

Post-Race Brunch Buffet:

An all-you-can-eat brunch buffet is available for purchase ($33.80 per ticket) at Power Plant Live!.

Virtual Race Information:

Participate from anywhere. Race swag will be mailed. Results can be submitted by June 29th.

Beneficiaries:

The event supports House of Ruth Maryland, which combats violence against women and children, and Soles for Souls, which supports women experiencing pregnancy loss.
