Miles Cupcake 5k and Fun Run 2026

Join the Miles Cupcake 5k and Fun Run on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Manteo, NC. This event supports OBX GO FAR, a non-profit children's running program. Proceeds help fund the Miles College Education Fund, provide scholarships, and cover program costs.

Participants can compete in the Miles Cupcake 5K, the Miles Cupcake Fun Run, or the Miles Cupcake 5K Virtual option. Teams can also compete for the "Biggest Batch" Cupcake Trophy.

Courses & Pricing:

• Miles Cupcake 5K: 3.1 Miles (approx. 5K). Price: $45.00 (early bird), increases after March 16, 2026.
• Miles Cupcake Fun Run: 1 Mile. Price: $20.00 (early bird), increases after March 16, 2026.
• Miles Cupcake 5K Virtual: 3.1 Miles (approx. 5K). Price: $40.00. Registration ends May 2, 2026.

Packet pick-up is Friday, May 1st (2:30 PM - 5:30 PM, TBD) and race morning (7:00 AM - 7:30 AM).

Runners must register by April 10th to guarantee a cupcake tee shirt.

The event offers a scenic route, a post-race party with prizes, and the chance to support a great cause.
