Join us for the Running With the Sharks 5K, kicking off the best time of year at the Jersey Shore with Ship Bottom Brewery and Second Capital Running. The event takes place on June 7, 2026, in Beach Haven, NJ.

• Awards to the top 3 M/F Overall and in Age Groups (14 & under, 15-19, and 10 year AG up to 60+)
• Awards for the top 5 First Responders and top 5 Active Service and/or Veteran Military (Must opt in at registration)
• Must register by May 28 to be guaranteed a T-Shirt and other swag.
• Post-race awards ceremony and complimentary beer for runners 21+ at the Brewery.

Pricing:

• 5K Run: $30 ($25 for ages 1-20). Price increases after February 8, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST.

Packet Pickup: Race day only, at Veterans Park, starting at 7:30 am.

Registration: Race-day registration is available online until 8:55 am on race day. Accepted payments: credit/debit, Apple Pay. Exact cash may be accepted.

Additional Notes:

• Dogs are allowed on the course if leashed and properly socialized.
• This is a cupless race; runners are encouraged to bring their own hydration. Water available at the finish line.
• Restrooms available at Veterans Park.
• No gear check available.
