Event Details

This annual open water swim event features two distances: a 2.4 mile swim and a 1.2 mile swim. Both races start from Discovery Marina at the Gozzer Ranch Lake Club, finishing at the Hagadone Event Center.

Participants swimming the 2.4 mile distance will be transported to Discovery Marina on a CDA cruise boat, departing at 6:30 am, with boarding starting at 6:00 am. The 1.2 mile swimmers will leave at 7:30 am from the Hagadone Event Center with boarding at 7:00 am.

To ensure safety, participants must reach the halfway point of the 2.4 mile swim within 1 hour and 10 minutes. Paramedics and Law Enforcement will be present throughout the event.

Wetsuits are allowed but not mandatory. The water temperature is expected to be approximately 72°F.

This event raises funds for youth aquatics programs including a third-grade swim program at the KROC facility in CDA, helping children learn valuable swimming skills.
