1 Million Steps 2 Safety 5K Run/Walk
The Louisiana Highway Safety Commission is hosting the 1 Million Steps to Safety 5K run/walk event. This in-person event celebrates Pedestrian Safety Month and welcomes participants from across Louisiana.
Mission: To promote and improve highway safety through education, awareness, and community engagement.
Date: October 25, 2025
Location: Louisiana State Police Headquarters, 7919 Independence Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70806
Time: 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Race activities begin at 8:30 a.m., 5K starts at 9:00 a.m.)
Cost: $25.00 (includes a free adult t-shirt)
Registration: Now - October 25th at 8:30 a.m.
