10k at 10,000 Feet
This challenging trail run boasts beautiful terrain and breathtaking scenery. The 10K race begins at 10,000 ft at the summit of Rabbit Ears Pass, heading uphill on USFS dirt roads and 2-track before descending on single-track, ending on cross-country single-track. Total elevation gain and loss is approximately 1,200 feet each. While listed as a 10k, the actual distance is 6.8 miles. One aid station is available at the 3.4-mile mark (5k race has no aid station). Bring your own water!
