11th Annual Dire Wolf 5 & 10 Mile Trail Race

Location: Wolf's Hollow County Park, 1399 Schoff Rd, Atglen, PA 19310, US

Description: The Dire Wolf is a challenging trail run consisting of hills, rocks, roots, a rugged downhill switchback, and a shallow creek crossing (unless it rains!). The course is a mix of fire trail, single-track, and grass. Runners of all speeds and abilities are welcome. Members of the Octorara Junior and Senior High School cross country teams are stationed throughout the course to provide direction and enthusiastic encouragement. ALL proceeds from this race benefit the Octorara Cross Country Team Booster.

Events:

• 11th Annual Dire Wolf 5 Mile Trail Race: $25 (price increases after September 19, 2025)
• 11th Annual Dire Wolf 11 Mile Trail Race: $35 (price increases after September 19, 2025)

Schedule:

• 7:30am - 8:45am: Race Bib Pickup and Day of Registration
• 8:50am: Race Announcements / Instructions
• 9:00am: 10 Mile Race Start
• 9:00am: 5 Mile Race Start
• Award Ceremony: TBD

Registration:

• Early Registration (before October 1st): Includes T-shirt
• Race Day Registration: Available 7:30am-8:45am, cash or check only.

Important Information:

• Strict no littering policy.
• 3-hour 30-minute cutoff time.
• No refunds, deferrals, bib transfers, or bandits.
• Race held rain or shine.
