1/2 Sauer 1/2 Kraut
Register for the 1/2 Sauer 1/2 Kraut race on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 7:30 AM in Pennypack Park, Philadelphia, PA. This year's race will start and finish in front of the Ed Kelly Amphitheater. The post-race party, with food, drinks, and German entertainment, will also take place at the Ed Kelly Amphitheater. Choose between a full marathon (26.2 miles) or half marathon (13.1 miles). The course is mostly shaded and flat, running along the Pennypack Creek. Awards will be given to top finishers in various categories.
Registration closes: Monday, June 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET
Race Packet Pickup: On race day only, starting at 6:30 AM at the Ed Kelly Amphitheater.
Fees:
- Half Marathon: $79.00 (until May 3rd, 2026), $85.00 (after May 3rd, 2026)
- Marathon: $85.00 (until May 3rd, 2026), $89.00 (after May 3rd, 2026)
Awards: Every finisher receives a medal. Top finishers receive German cuckoo clocks or weather houses.
