13th Annual Race to Feed Our Veterans 5K

Pay tribute to our veterans by joining the race to fight senior hunger! Meals on Wheels Spokane and Fairmount Memorial Association are partnering up again for the 13th Annual Race to Feed Our Veterans 5K on Sunday, November 9th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This course winds through the beautiful grounds of Fairmount's Riverside Memorial Park and up into the tree-lined hills of Greenwood Memorial Terrace. All proceeds will benefit Meals on Wheels Spokane to make sure no senior veteran goes hungry this year. All ages (children to adult) and fitness level are welcome. Run or walk through the park with no worries about crossing traffic. At the end of the race enjoy complimentary beer and chili. Sign-up today and your $25 registration will provide five meals for our Spokane seniors and veterans. Meals on Wheels Spokane is also asking for runners to donate new men’s and women’s socks for the seniors they serve. All socks will be distributed through their home delivery program.
