15th Annual Bill Cross 5K

The 15th Annual Bill Cross 5K is on Sunday, October 12, 2025. It includes the following events: 5K Timed Ages 18+, 5K Untimed Ages 18+, Kids Trot Under 6, 5K Timed- Ages 6-17, and 5K Untimed Ages 6-17.

Feed Northland Kids is once again partnering with the family of Bill Cross to help feed children in the Northland. Did you know there are over 11,000 children in Clay and Platte Counties who are food insecure, meaning they do not have regular access to nutritious and affordable food? You can help! By registering for the 5k, fundraising, and inviting family and friends to join, you can help Feed Northland Kids continue feeding hungry children in our community.

The Bill Cross 5k will be held in Zona Rosa on Sunday October 12, 2025 at 8:00AM. The run is in memory of Bill Cross, former Mayor of Gladstone and devoted teacher, coach, administrator, mentor and role model for more than 35,000 area students. All funds raised from this event will support Feed Northland Kids programs including our Food Pantries and Community Food Kits. Together, we can ensure that children in our community have the nutrition they need to learn, grow, and thrive!
