About the Event

Dear Neverwinterers,

This time we will pedal through NY, CT, and MA via the well-known Harlem Valley Trail. This is a really gorgeous route that we do almost every year.

We will have numerous stops and possibly visit the lakes. This route has plenty of places where you can refill your water and is very environmentally friendly. Half of the trail goes via a protected bicycle lane, where you will never see the cars, providing a safe cycling experience.

The event lasts approximately 13 hours and starts on April 26 (Saturday) at:

  • 6:30 AM at Grand Central Terminal (New York, NY)
  • 10:15 AM at Wassaic train station (parking lot)

Expect about 8 hours of riding time at an average speed of 11 miles per hour, totaling around 70 miles with an elevation of 2218 ft. The terrain is 100% paved, making it suitable for road bikes.

Some participants might drive directly to Wassaic, so feel free to coordinate rides in the group. For those who love walkie-talkies, we will use frequencies 462.6125 or 462.6375 (Channel 3 and 4).

We have a WhatsApp group to coordinate this event as well – please contact the organizer to join!
