2015 North Jersey Half Marathon & 5k

Race Information

The RETURN of the North Jersey "HALF" is UNDERWAY. Be sure to come back in early 2026 for all the details. One of the best half marathon courses in the Northeast! Its completely flat and extremely fast. Its comprised of 90% right turns... so its a runner's course and it PR ready!!! The race is a NYC Marathon Qualifier so get the drop on everyone and check it out now!!!!

Maximum Participants

The 2015 North Jersey Haunted Half Marathon &5k will be CAPPED at 800 participants. Please register early to ensure your place on the starting line of this monumental event!!!

Awards

Finisher medals will be provided to all those that complete the North Jersey Haunted Half. Race shirts guaranteed to all who sign up by 10/12. Top three (3) Overall Male and Female Winners for 13.1 & 5k will be awarded trophies. For 13.1: Top three (3) Male and Female (excluding overall winners) in the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29 in 5 year age groups through 80+ will receive a custom one of a kind medal. 2-Person Relay teams will be awarded in the Male, Female and Coed categories. Top overalls only. For 5k: Top (1) Male & Female in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15 -19, 20 - 24 in 5 year age groups through 80+ will recieve a custom medal. If we get enough entrants we might even support a Clydesdale (200lbs.) and Athena (160lbs.) category for the 13.1. If you are either, and are interested in competing in this category please answer the question appropriately when registering. If we can at least get 20 in each category we'll support it!!!

Written Directions

From Route 287 North/South: Take Route 287 to Exit 52A for Route 23 South. Take Route 23 South (stay to the right) approximately .3 miles to the exit for the Newark Pompton Turnpike (CR-660). As your exiting take the West Parkway turnoff (immediate right). Proceed South on West Parkway for about three (3) miles crossing Jacksonville Road. Park is located on your right .4 miles from Jacksonville Road.

From Route 23 South: Take Route 23 South (stay to the right) approximately .3 miles to the exit for the Newark Pompton Turnpike (CR-660). As your exiting take the West Parkway turnoff (immediate right). Proceed South on West Parkway for about three (3) miles crossing Jacksonville Road. Park is located on your right .4 miles from Jacksonville Road.

From Route 80/Route 46: Take Route 80 or Route 46 to Route 23 North. Proceed North about two (2) miles to Newark-Pompton Turnpike (CR-660). Continue North on NP Turnpike about three (3) miles to Jacksonville Road. Turn left onto Jacksonville Road. Proceed West on Jackconville Road for .7 miles to West Parkway. Turn left onto West Parkway. Park is located on your right .4 miles from Jacksonville Road.
