About the Event
Event Details
This is a full charity race held along the historic C&O Canal Towpath two miles west of Georgetown in Washington DC. All net proceeds will support girls' education in Kenya and the rural Himalayas of Nepal.
Great finisher Medals for first 250 finishers, sweat-wicking race shirts, DJ music and awards follow the race at the Fletcher's Boat House! Light refreshments, bananas, power bars, bagels, water, gatorade, and coffee for all runners at the lower level. Enjoy the beautiful time of year along the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. and the scenic historic C&O Canal!
