Join us for this annual 5-mile road race and enjoy a great meal after the race! The race has been run for over 40 years and has unofficially become known as "The Potato Race" for the free bag of potatoes all participants receive. Dedicated to its founder and dedicated runner Dan Barry, all proceeds go to Lions Club Charities and assisting local community causes. This year’s race proceeds will once again benefit the Veterans of the Veteran’s Home at Holyoke.
This is a beautiful fall run through the quiet town of Hatfield that begins and ends at the Lions Pavilion where a buffet line of pasta and baked potato bar awaits you and your family. Water stops are provided along the way and Lions provide direction throughout the course. Please come out in support of a great cause and find out what you've been missing!! And don't forget your potatoes after you finish! 100% of the money raised by this event each year goes to the Lions Club Charities and local community causes. This year’s race proceeds will once again benefit the Veterans of the Veteran’s Home at Holyoke. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
