2025 Winter Lightfest Santa Fun Run

Event Details

The 2025 Santa Fun Run begins at 7 p.m. on December 3rd and winds through the United Way's beautiful Winter Lightfest. This event is a fundraiser for the Wylie Bulldogs Education Foundation and the United Way, in partnership with Abilene Running Company. Run or walk through 3 million lights and help promote excellence in education!

Course Information: The course is just under 3 miles and goes through the Lightfest four times. Strollers are welcome. No dogs please.

Registration & T-shirts: T-shirts are guaranteed if you register by November 20th. T-shirts are likely if you register by December 1st.

Weather Policy: The run will only be cancelled if weather conditions (ice or snow) make travel extremely dangerous. No refunds will be issued if the event is cancelled.

Event Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Abilene Running Co. from noon-6 p.m. on Dec. 2 or from noon to 5 p.m. on Dec. 3. Packets can also be picked up at the registration table 15-20 minutes before the Lightfest begins.
• Race Start: 7:00 PM. The start and end point will be near the east gate, not at the Lightfest ticket box.
• Gate Opens: 6:00 PM
• Parking: Lighted parking is free.
