2026 Frostbite 5K Prediction Run

Date: Saturday, February 14, 2026 (Valentine's Day)

Time: Race starts at 9:00 AM EST. Packet pick-up available on race day from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM, and early pick-up on Friday, February 13th from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at Ritchies Sporting Goods (137 South Avenue, Tallmadge, OH 44278).

Location: Munroe Falls Metro Park, Munroe Falls, OH 44262. The course consists of two laps on the park road circling the lake plus a service road spur.

Event Details: This is a time prediction 5K run. The winner is the participant closest to their predicted finish time. NO TIMING DEVICES ALLOWED (watches, GPS units, heart monitors, headphones, headsets, or earbuds). Pets and strollers are not permitted on the race course due to insurance restrictions.

Awards: Awards will be given to the runner closest to their predicted time, not necessarily the fastest runners. Great prizes are available.

Note #1: This is an outdoor event in February in Ohio. Dress and plan accordingly. Snacks will be provided, but participants may wish to wait in their vehicles for awards.

Note #2: In case of snow emergency or dangerous weather, the race will be canceled, and arrangements will be made for entrants to pick up hats. Check www.summitathletic.com for last-minute information.
