21st Annual GFRC Busa Bushwhack Trail Races

Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, at 9:00 AM

Location: Park, start, and finish at Brophy Elementary School, 575 Pleasant Street (Route 30), Framingham MA 01701. Please carpool if you can.

Race Events:

• 5.3 Mile Trail Race: $25 (increases to $30 on October 1st)
• 10 Mile Trail Race: $25 (increases to $30 on October 1st)

Check-In: Begins at 7:30 AM and closes at 8:45 AM. Registration closes at midnight the prior day. Sorry, no race day registrations.

Course Description: The natural trails (some hills, some rocks, & some roots) of Callahan State Park. The first 0.3 and last 0.6 mile of each race is on the road with a finish back at Brophy Elementary.

Safety Restrictions: Pets are not allowed on the race course. Headphones and Air Pods are discouraged.

Race Amenities: Indoor pre- and post-race festivities and use of facilities. Well-marked course with mile markers. There is one water stop on the 5.3 mile course and two water stops on the 10 mile course.

Commemorative Gifts: Busa Bushwhack commemorative gift for all finishers. Past items have included knit hats, running gloves, and glass or ceramic mugs.

Awards: Log Trophy Awards for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall male and female finishers. Also, 1st place finisher log trophy awards for male and female age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
