Course Information
The race starts and finishes at the Jay City Park. The scenic course runs through the countryside and loops around the local elementary and high school. The last half of the course features a paved road between cotton and peanut fields, ensuring a flat route for fast times!
Awards
Trophies will be awarded to the Top 3 Finishers in each of 32 age groups. There will be Overall Awards for the Top Male/Female Open Runners, Master Runners, Grand Master Runners, and Senior Grand Master Runners. Awards also for the Top 3 Male/Female Walkers and Wheelchair Participants in the 5K and Mile Runs. T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 runners who register.
Post Race
Refreshments like watermelon will be served after the race.
Registration Fees
Entry Fee: $25.00 on race day - $30.00 for the 5K event, $10.00 for an optional shirt purchase. The One Mile Fun Run is free!
Late Registration
Late registration and T-Shirt pick-up will begin at 6:30 AM on race day at the Jay City Hall.
