27th Annual Scheels Turkey Trot
Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025
Location: Scheels, 1200 Scheels Drive, Sparks, NV 89434
Description: This year's Turkey Trot is a 2-mile stroll around Sparks Marina. Participants can choose to do one or more laps. Prizes will be awarded for the most creative construction-themed attire.
Race Day Information:
- Time: 8:30 AM PST - 10:00 AM PST
- Start Location: Scheels parking lot
- Strollers: Allowed
- Dogs: Not allowed (except service dogs)
Registration: Opens September 1, 2025, at 12:00 AM PDT. Cost is $35.00
Shirt & Information Pick Up: November 24th - November 26th, 9 AM - 4 PM at the City of Sparks Parks and Recreation Department, 98 Richards Way, Sparks, NV 89431.
Race Proceeds: Benefit Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful and Amateur Radio Emergency Services.
