29th Annual 2025 Harriers Thetis Lake Relay

Event Details

The 29th Annual 2025 Harriers Thetis Lake Relay is part of the Harriers Thetis Lake Fall Trail Series. It's a popular low-key fun trail relay, suitable as a tune-up for other upcoming races. Club, school, recreation centre, running clinic, competitive and recreational runners of all paces are welcome. Team tents are permitted.

Current paid-up Prairie Inn Harrier club members can run their laps for free. Memberships can be taken out or renewed during registration.

Location

Thetis Lake Park, Victoria, BC. Start and finish near the main beach. Parking is available at the main lot at the end of Six Mile Road, or cycle the Galloping Goose trail and park at the beach.

Event Format

Teams of up to 4 members complete one "5K" lap of Upper and Lower Thetis Lake along the main trail in sequence. There is a mass start, and an exchange zone on the main beach to tag the next member. Teams with fewer members can continue or alternate laps to complete the four.

Team Categories

• Junior (All under 20) – Women, Men and Mixed
• Open (Any age) – Women, Men and Mixed
• Master (All 40+) – Women, Men and Mixed
• Veteran (All 50+) – Women, Men and Mixed
• Super Veteran (All 60+) – Women, Men and Mixed
• Solo – Women and Men
• Dual – Women, Men and Mixed
• Family (at least 3 laps from the same family or 2 laps from each of 2 families)
• Walk Category

Notes: Women teams must be all women. Mixed teams must complete at least two laps by women. Junior team members must be all under 20 years old. Other age groups are determined by the youngest runner.

Registration Fees

Prices are inclusive of mandatory charges, items, and fees.

• Early Price: $43.62 ($40 + online processing fee) per team (1-4 participants) - Oct 1 – Oct 12
• Regular Price: $64.99 ($60 + online processing fee) - Oct 13 – Nov 9
• Late Price: $86.35 ($80 + online processing fee) - Nov 10 – Nov 11

Solo teams are half-price, and dual (two-member) teams get a 25% discount.
