About the Event
48th Annual Ray's Race at APA
The 48th Annual Running Psychologists “Ray’s Race” 5k Run & Walk will take place at the American Psychological Association (APA) Convention on Saturday, August 8, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM EDT. This event is a tradition started by former APA President and CEO, Ray Fowler, offering a great opportunity for exercise, networking, and exploring the host city.
The race route is conveniently located near APA hotels and the Convention Center. Buses will be provided, leaving at 6 AM.
Registration Fees:
- $40 for APA Members, Family, & Friends (or Local Attendees!)
- $30 for Students (PROMO CODE "STUDENT2026")
- Youth 14 and under receive a free entry.
Bib and shirt pickup will be at the Ray’s Race table in the registration area near “The Gathering Place.”
The race will be held at the Historic Congressional Cemetery.
