500 Festival Mini-Marathon

At the beginning of May, over 20,000 runners, joggers, walkers, and wheelchair racers take over the streets of downtown Indianapolis for The Greatest Spectacle in Running – the Indy Mini. This epic race celebrates its 49th running in 2025 and starts in the heart of downtown, led by an IndyCar.

This flat, fast course features thousands of enthusiastic volunteers and nearly 100 entertainment acts. Runners will enjoy a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, kissing the iconic bricks as part of this unique tradition.
