• Kid's Kilometer Fun Run: $0, 8:15AM EDT - 12:00PM EDT. 200 spots left. Registration opens July 11, 2025 at 12:00pm EDT. Open to ages 2-13.

Location: Utica State Office Building, 207 Genesee St, Utica, NY 13501

The fall classic is back! This year we are running over 50 years strong. Join the Utica Roadrunners in downtown Utica at the State Office Building for the 5k or the scenic switchbacks 14k. We have a kid's run too! The 14K has been selected as a 2024 RRCA Eastern Region Championship Event. There will be awards for overall winners and age group winners for the 5k and 14k.

Packet Pickup and Registration: Registration fees will increase to $50 on race weekend. Cash, check, and Venmo will be accepted. First packet pickup is Saturday, 9/27 from 10am-4pm at the Sneaker Store. Second packet pickup is Sunday, 9/28 beginning at 7am at DoubleTree by Hilton Utica. You can also register at the DoubleTree the day of the race until 8:30am. Kids Race Runners can pick up their bib and shirt at 7 am on Sunday only.

Course Descriptions:

• 5k: Starts on a light incline, turns right at the traffic circle. Mile 1 is near the corner of Oswego St. The remaining 1.1 mile is pretty much the first mile in reverse.
• 14k: Starts the same as the 5k, turns left at the traffic circle. Includes scenic but challenging switchbacks and park roads. Finishes with a fast downhill.
