6 Hours of Power (Hueston Woods State Park)

The crew at Wolf Pack Adventures is excited to bring you this unique event in the limestone and shale bedrock of the Hueston Woods region. Run as many 5K loops as you can in 6 hours at Hueston Woods State Park! Complete at least four loops to officially complete the race. You do not need to run for 6 hours. You can run for as long as it takes you to run four loops. Your official race time will be recorded as the time you complete your fourth loop. Results will be recorded as the total number of loops each participant runs in 6 hours. Whoever runs the most loops in 6 hours is the 6 Hours of Power champion.

The limestone and shale bedrock of the Hueston Woods region provides evidence of the ancient shallow sea that once covered Ohio. Fossilized remnants of ancient marine animals are so abundant that the park attracts collectors year-round. Fossil hunting is just the beginning of the outdoor adventures found at this lodge park. • 4:00PM: Finish line closes.

All races Start/Finish at the Hedge Row Picnic Area. 5K course is one loop. Elevation gain: 140 ft.
