8th Annual ReDiscover YOUR Light 5K Run+Walk

Location: Miramar Regional Park, 16801 Miramar Pkwy, Miramar, FL 33027 US

Description: Over the past seven years, more than 800 people from 34 states and 3 countries have participated to shine a light on child sexual abuse and exploitation. Hosted by The Starr Institute (TSI), this event is a movement to create a safe space for youth and families. Whether you're a seasoned runner or casual walker, you're welcome to participate at your own pace.

Two ways to participate:

• Virtual Race Week | October 26 – November 1, 2025: Complete your 3.1 miles from anywhere.
• In-Person Event | Saturday, November 1, 2025: Join us at Miramar Regional Park. Registration opens at 6 AM | Race kickoff at 7 AM. First 100 in-person finishers receive a commemorative medal!

Registration: Register by September 30, 2025 to guarantee your race shirt. Registration ends November 1, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT. Cost: $35.00
