Aberdeen Area Running Club Beer Mile 2025

Location: Brown County Fairgrounds - Centennial Village, 400 24th Ave NW, Aberdeen, SD 57401, US

The Beer Mile consists of drinking a beer, running a 1/4 mile, and repeating that process three more times for a total of 4 beers and 1 mile of running. You must be 21 to participate and bring ID to the event.

Participation Options:

• Single: 1 person drinks all the beer and runs all the laps.
• Double: 2 people split the running and beer drinking. Each must drink 2 beers and run 2 laps (1/2 mile total per person).
• Quad: A 4 person team splits the running and beer drinking. Each person drinks 1 beer and runs 1/4 mile.

Suggested Training Plan:

Get off the sofa, grab a beer, and take the long way back to the sofa. Incrementally increase the distance to the fridge by one room every three days.
