UPDATE: BILLY & PAT MILLS WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE THIS YEAR!

Now in its tenth year, this 6.2-mile run/walk follows the beautiful “Billy Mills Trail,” the championship cross country course at Haskell Indian Nations University, alma mater of Olympic Legend Billy Mills, still the only American ever to win gold at 10,000 meters. The course is carefully maintained and safe for runners of all ability levels.

A popular virtual option is also offered for Billy Mills fans across the country and around the globe to participate.

What's Included:

• All paid participants receive a long-sleeve race shirt, custom finisher's medal, and a $10-off shoe coupon to Ad Astra Running.
• Overall, age-graded masters, and age group winners receive a combined $750 in gift certificates to Ad Astra Running.

Awards:

• Overall: 1st Place - $100, 2nd Place - $50, 3rd Place - $30
• Age-Graded Masters: 1st Place - $50, 2nd Place - $25
• Age Groups (Elem, JrHS, HS, 19-25, 26-32, 33-39, 40-46, 47-53, 54-60, 61-67, 68-74, 75+): 1st Place - $15

Virtual Option: Receive a long-sleeve race shirt and official finisher’s medal. Submitting results is not required. Shipping is included to addresses outside Lawrence, KS; items will ship in mid-October, after the in-person race. Virtual participants residing in Lawrence, KS can pick up their shirt & medal in person at Ad Astra Running, 835 Massachusetts, during regular store hours (M-F 10-7, Sat 10-5, Sun 12-5).

Packet Pick-Up:

• Saturday, October 11th, 12:00-5:00pm at Ad Astra Running (835 Massachusetts, Lawrence, KS)
• Out-of-towners ONLY: Sunday, October 12th, 7:00-7:20am at the race course finish line
