Adam Downer Memorial Suicide Awareness 5K

Join us for the Suicide Awareness 5K on the beautiful campus of Salish Kootenai College in Pablo, Montana. This community walk/run brings people together to raise awareness, honor those we've lost to suicide, and support mental health and healing across all generations. The 5K route begins in the SKC Nursing Building parking lot and then winds through SKC’s scenic campus, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Flathead Reservation, and ends back in the Nursing building's parking lot. A variety of community mental health services will be present as vendors on-site. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome—whether you run, walk, or simply show up in support, your presence makes a difference. Run or not, stop by from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm for a smash burger from the R-Cantina food truck, watch a short presentation of your community resources, and show your support! Proceeds and donations will support local mental health initiatives and suicide prevention efforts in Native communities and beyond. Together, we walk in hope, remembrance, and solidarity. Let’s come together as a community to raise our voices, lift each other up, and take steps toward healing.
