Adams Morgan 5k Race and Community Culture Festival
The Adams Morgan 5k Race and Community Culture Festival is a movement to bridge the gap in mental health wellness in Ward 7 and Ward 9 of Washington, D.C. The race will raise awareness, promote equitable access to resources, and inspire community support for mental health. A challenging hill is part of the route, so advance training is encouraged.
Proceeds will directly fund a community clinic addressing the shortage of mental wellness services in Ward 7 and Ward 8. This clinic will offer therapy during non-traditional hours.
