13th Annual AdventHealth Avista Louisville Turkey Trot

This event began as a way to collect food and donations for the local food bank, Community Food Share, while bringing the community together on Thanksgiving morning. It has grown into a public benefit corporation focused on creating social good and supporting the community.

Event Details:

• Race Start: 9:00 a.m. MST
• Location: Front Street & Spruce Street (951 Spruce Street, Louisville, CO 80027)

Registration: Entry fees and food donations directly support Community Food Share. Last year's race raised over $92,000. Entry fees are kept low to be accessible, with early pricing offering significant discounts. The event skips bibs, shirts, and chip timing to maximize donations.

School Grant Program: Registration also supports local schools through the Louisville Turkey Trot School Grant Program, awarding grants to schools with the most registered participants.

Course: The event is a 5K. Start: Front Street & Pine Street, Finish: South Street & Front Street.

Post-Race Celebration: Includes music and free refreshments like craft beer, hard cider, spirits, coffee, and hot cocoa (21+ beverages require ID and race entry).

Packet Pick-Up: There is no packet pick-up. This is a non-competitive fun run. A finish-line clock provides an unofficial overall time.

Strollers: Welcome. Children in strollers do not need to be registered.

Dogs: Not permitted due to insurance restrictions.

Late Registration: Available onsite via QR codes.

Parking: Designated parking lots and street parking available in Downtown Louisville.
