Akron Trail Marathon

Course Information

The marathon begins at the Memorial Parkway trailhead and includes an out-and-back portion through the city, leading into the beautiful hilly sections of the Towpath Trail. Half marathon and 10K participants will follow slightly different routes starting from the same trailhead. The full marathon will run the half marathon course twice.

Water Stops: Expect approximately 6-8 water stops on the marathon route. Hydration options will include water, sports drinks, and snacks at various aid stations. Participants are advised to carry a handheld water bottle due to potential heat and humidity.

Awards

Awards will be given for overall male and female winners in each distance, as well as medals for all finishers.

Pricing

• Marathon: $70 until 2/28/25, $80 until 4/30/25, $90 after 4/30/25
• Half Marathon: $50 until 2/28/25, $60 until 4/30/25, $70 after 4/30/25
• 10K: $40 until 2/28/25, $50 until 4/30/25, $60 after 4/30/25

Registration will open January 10, 2025, and includes a medal and t-shirt (guaranteed size cut-off is June 14).

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will occur Saturday, July 12th from 3-5 PM at Second Sole, 1466 N Portage Path, Akron, OH. On race day, packet pickup will be available from 6:00-6:45 AM at the start/finish area.
