Alameda Island Running Festival

The Alameda Island Running Festival takes place on Sunday, September 21, 2025 in Alameda, CA. This year's festival will be held at Faction Brewery, featuring a Health and Wellness expo presented by Alameda Health Systems. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Alameda Education Foundation.

Events:

• Island Half Marathon (7:30 AM PDT - 11:00 AM PDT)
• Island 10K Run (8:00 AM PDT - 11:00 AM PDT)
• Island 5k Run / Walk (8:15 AM PDT - 11:00 AM PDT)

Packet Pickup:

• Thursday & Friday, September 18th & 19th: Lauren's Closet, 1420 Park St, Alameda, CA 94501
• Saturday, September 20th: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Faction Brewery

Race Day:

• Sunday, September 21st: 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM at Faction Brewery

Race Timing and Restrictions: Chip-timed event. Jogging strollers permitted (start at the back). Wheelchair athletes permitted (cannot exceed the speed of the fastest runner). No bikes, scooters, skateboards, or dogs allowed.

Medical and Water Stops: Dedicated paramedics team on-site. Medical station near the finish line. Water stops located at various points along the courses (see maps for details).
