Alma Domestic Violence Foundation: 2025 Walk A Mile In Their Shoes 5K Run/1 Mile Walk

Walk A Mile In Their Shoes is one of our organization’s signature events where participants from across the country come together to advocate against domestic violence. Typically an in-person 5K run/1 mile walk, this year we’re going hybrid - both virtual and in-person!

In-Person Event:

• Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025
• Time: 8:00 AM EDT
• Location: Park Tavern, 10th Street Northeast, Atlanta, GA, USA
• Details: Sign-in and on-site registration begins at 7:00am at Park Tavern, next to Piedmont Park and the race takes place on the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail. The in-person 5K race is an Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race qualifying event. The course is USATF Certified (GA22048WC).

Virtual Event:

• Dates: October 1st - October 7th, 2025
• Details: Virtual participants can run, walk, swim, hike, bike, or choose another activity. Post your results on the Virtual Results tab on Race Roster.
