Event Details
The Antigua and Barbuda Marathon is scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2026, starting at 6:00 AM AST in St John's, Antigua and Barbuda.
This marathon is part of a larger series: "6 Marathons in 6 Caribbean Islands in just 11 days, island hopping with all direct nonstop convenient flights." The series includes:
- 1- 2/26/2026 Saint Vincent and The Grenadines Marathon
- 2- 2/28/2026 Grenada Marathon
- 3- 3/2/2026 Antigua and Barbuda Marathon
- 4- 3/4/2026 Montserrat Marathon
- 5- 3/8/2026 Sint Maarten French Marathon
- 6- 3/8/2026 Saint Martin Dutch Marathon
Each country/marathon has a separate registration, and participants can sign up for one or all races for $45 each.

- Bib Distribution & Briefings: 5 PM the day before each country's race at the Host Hotel.
- Start Time: Sunrise for each event/country. Subject to change based on weather and local conditions.
- Course: Generally mostly flat terrain (not guaranteed) with multi-laps.
- Finish Cut-off Time: 9:00 AM after start ("No Runner Left Behind").
- Timekeeping: Controlled by timekeepers under the Race Director. Runners must carry a GPS-watch or device with minimum 9 hours battery capacity.
- Awards: All finishers receive a medal and finish results list. A finisher certificate is being considered.
- Important Notes: Visas may be required (participant's responsibility). Races avoid public roads and are without official permission, insurance, or medical services. Participants run at their own risk. Organizers are not liable for circumstances beyond their control or official stops. Races are self-supporting (participants bring their own drinks and nutrition).
- Runner Limit: Limited to 15 runners per race on a first-come, first-serve basis. Organizer reserves the right to reject registrations.
