AppleJack Fun Run & Walk
Please join us for the annual 5K run/walk through beautiful Nebraska City on Saturday morning, September 20, 2025, in conjunction with the city’s AppleJack Festival! We encourage participation of everyone from the beginner to experienced road runners - proceeds from this event go back into the Nebraska City community. The route for this 5K begins in Steinhart Park in Nebraska City. Portions of the race will be on brick, gravel, and rough terrain. Strollers and dogs (on leashes) are welcome and encouraged! Meet at Steinhart Park in front of Steinhart Aquatic Center at 7:00 a.m. The run begins at 7:30 a.m. Plenty of free parking is available at Nebraska City High School, 141 Steinhart Park Road. Restrooms are available at the start/finish. There will be a 1-mile Kids Run beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Steinhart Park. The Kids Run is free!
