ARBUCKLE ANKLEBITER IS BACK for 2026! 100k and 20k options this time and COOLER weather! Discounts for everyone that ran the 2024 event and FREE entry for the 100k finishers!

The Arbuckle Tract at Lake Wales Ridge State Forest in Frostproof offers opportunities for long hiking excursions, equestrian trails, and camping. The terrain includes single-track sand, soft sand, lumpy grass trails, clay & limestone roads, and a treacherous cypress section along Lake Arbuckle.

Aid stations will be available every 4 to 5 miles, offering electrolytes, fruits, gels, and other food items. Food will be available all day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.

Race Details:

• 100k: 5 x 20k loops
• 20k: 1 x 20k loop

Start Times:

• 100k: 6:00 AM (18-hour cutoff)
• 20k: 7:00 AM

Camping: Primitive camping is available on-site. A Polk County campground with facilities is about 3 miles away.

SWAG: 2026 event includes hats, pint glasses, and finish medals from the 2024 event. New socks are free for 100k runners and can be purchased with the 20k entry.
