Area 51 5k/12k Trail Race

Date: Saturday, May 10, 2025

Location: Area 51 mountain bike trails, 8900 US-highway 51, Hernando, MS

Distances: 12K and 6K

Course Description

Area 51 is located south of Hernando, MS, right on highway 51. This 100% single track trail winds through the hills and trees of North Mississippi. The course is challenging with almost 100' of gain per mile.

Race Day Schedule

• Packet Pickup: One or two days before the race; also at Start/Finish line on race morning from 7:00-7:45 AM.
• Start Times: 12K at 8:00 AM, 6K at 8:15 AM.

Aid Stations

A water station will be available on the 5K route, and an aid station on the 12K route.

Registration

• 12K - $45.00 ($55.62 after Feb 28)
• 6K - $42.29 ($53.65 after Feb 28)

All profits from the event will go back to the NMTA to support trail maintenance.
