About the Event
Ashburn Village Kids Triathlon
The Ashburn Village Kids Triathlon is a multi-sport event for children ages 6-15. It includes swimming in the Lakes Rec Center outdoor pool, biking around the neighborhood, and running on a marked course. The race is organized by age group, with different distances for each group. A bike helmet is required for the bike portion. Participants must have their own bike and basic swimming skills. Awards and participation ribbons will be given.
Course Information:
- Ages 6-8: Swim 50 meters, bike 1.5 miles, run 0.75 miles
- Ages 9-10: Swim 100 meters, bike 1.5 miles, run 0.75 miles
- Ages 11-12: Swim 100 meters, bike 3 miles, run 1.5 miles
- Ages 13-15: Swim 150 meters, bike 3 miles, run 1.5 miles
Pricing:
- Resident: $55.00
- Non-Resident: $60.00
Race Day Schedule:
- Participant Check-In: 6:00am - 7:00am
- Opening Ceremonies: 7:45am
- Race Start Times vary by age group.
