The A8K run honors local hero and Olympic Champion, Horace Ashenfelter, while the 2K run honors Tom Fleming, who won the New York City Marathon twice.
COURSE: The 8K course is certified as “relatively flat” with water stops, and the 2K course follows an out-and-back format on Ridgewood Avenue.
AWARDS: Awards will be provided for overall winners and top finishers in various categories. Registration includes a long sleeve tech top for the first 3000 A8K pre-registered participants and long sleeve cotton T-shirts for the first 1000 Tom Fleming 2K participants.
