AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Arizona Boardwalk

Arizona runners don't stop running as the temperatures rise - we just get started a little earlier! Join us as we continue the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series with our sixth leg at Arizona Boardwalk! This event features a 5K distance and is limited to 700 participants.

Registration fees:

• Jan 1 – Jan 13: $35 + processing fee
• Jan 14 – Jun 30: $40 + processing fee
• Jul 1 – Jul 24: $45 + processing fee

Series Information:

• This is a StartLine Racing Series with big prizes.
• Get points for every event completed, with extra points for age group and overall finish.
• Top 100 point earners and those completing at least 4 of 7 events will be entered into the Arizona Sunrise Series Prize Drawing.
• Prizes include three $500 gift cards.

Other Series Events: May 16th - Kiwanis Park, May 30th - Scottsdale Sports Complex, June 13th - Rio Vista Park, June 27th - Freestone Park, July 11th - Foothills Park, July 25th - Arizona Boardwalk, August 8th - Riparian Preserve.

Virtual Run Registration: Available for those who cannot attend locally. All prices include shipping. Items will ship following the event on July 25th. Virtual registrations are restricted to US addresses only.

Race Day Information:

• Race Day Registration available from 5:30am at Arizona Boardwalk. Cost: $50 (cash and credit cards accepted). Shirt size not guaranteed.
• Wheelchairs, strollers & wagons welcome. No roller blades/skates, skateboards or motorized devices.
• Walkers welcome! Leashed pet friendly!
• Runs rain or shine. No refunds or transfers due to weather.

Starting Options:

• Open start line: 5:30am - 6:15am
• Traditional mass start: 6:30am

Packet Pick-Up:

• Friday, July 24, 2026: 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Road Runner Sports (7077 E Mayo Blvd, Phoenix, Arizona 85054)
• Saturday, July 25, 2026: At Arizona Boardwalk (race location) starting at 5:30am.
