About the Event
Join us for the Back Cove Backyard Ultra at Back Cove Park in Portland, ME! This event challenges participants to complete a 4.167 mile loop every hour on the hour until only one runner is left standing. Enjoy the non-technical, mostly flat gravel loop that offers beautiful views.
Course Details
The Back Cove Trail is a 3.5 mile loop with a short paved bridge crossing. Each loop includes a 0.60 mile add-on on the Bayside Trail to achieve the standard backyard ultra distance.
Aid Stations
Participants will find two aid stations: one unstaffed station in Payson Park with basic supplies and a fully staffed station at the start/finish area offering water, electrolytes, snacks, and a place to leave drop bags.
Event Timing
The event starts on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET and registration closes at 11:59 PM ET on the same day.
