Description: Welcome to the Back to School Run for Parkinson’s! This race will benefit the Parkinson’s Foundation, specifically contributing to Jack Miller’s New York City Marathon Fundraiser. Jack has been personally impacted by Parkinson’s, and through this event, he hopes to raise meaningful funds to help advance the Foundation’s mission. The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people living with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. We hope that you will join us in running or walking to support such an incredible cause!

Race Day Schedule:

• 8:00am: Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration
• 9:00am: 5K Start
• 10:00am: Awards Ceremony

Registration Fees

• In Person 5K Run/Walk: $25.00 (Race Fee) + $3.15 (SignUp Fee); Price increases to $30.00 + $3.44 SignUp Fee after July 15, 2025 at 11:59pm EDT. Registration ends August 3, 2025 at 8:00am EDT
• Virtual 5K Run/Walk: $25.00 (Race Fee) + $3.15 (SignUp Fee). Registration ends August 3, 2025 at 8:00am EDT

T-Shirts: Guaranteed for registrations received by July 15, 2025. After that date, shirts will be available while supplies last.

Course: The 5K course starts and finishes at the parking lot area near the softball field and the Titan Center. The course runs through the Lake Oconee Campus and adjacent neighborhoods.

Awards: Awards are given to Overall Male / Female, Masters Male/Female and the following Male / Female Age Groups: 10-year age group: 10 and Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and Over

Virtual Option: Run your 3.1 miles anywhere. Submit your finish time by clicking on the RESULTS tab at the top of this page. Submit finish times no later than 12 noon on August 3. To submit a virtual time you must be registered as a virtual runner. Virtual runners are not eligible for t-shirts or race day awards.
