The Humboldt Bay Firefighters are proud to announce we will be hosting our 9th annual dog-friendly 5k Walk/Run on Sunday, October 19th, 2025 at 10am. The event will take place in Sequoia Park and will benefit a local non-profit animal charity. Sign up and race with or without your dog! We plan on supporting a different animal charity each year. This year we have selected "Two Rivers Pet and Wildlife Rescue" to be our beneficiary. This non-profit animal rescue based out of Hoopa has a sole focus to rescue abused, neglected, and abandoned animals, and to educate the community on animal welfare. It is our goal to raise money for this organization through business sponsors, donations, and race participants. All proceeds will be donated directly to the benefiting animal charity. We ask that your business take part in our endeavor to promote community involvement, healthy lifestyles, and helping animals here in Humboldt County!
