Baystate Health Nurses Week 5K Run/1K Walk

Event Overview

PLEASE JOIN IN THE FUN CREATED BY BAYSTATE HEALTH NURSES TO SUPPORT BAYSTATE HEALTH NURSES! Our Annual Nurses & Support Staff Week run/walk event encourages participants to get moving, while providing support for our patient care team members.

The 5K run/1K walk event is a fun, energetic way for caregivers, their families, friends, and the community show support and appreciation for one another. All proceeds benefit the Nursing Scholarship Fund through the Baystate Health Foundation supporting nursing professional development opportunities including scholarships, education, and research.

Event Details

Registration check-in will be at the employee plaza in front of the Springfield building entrance. Runners and walkers will begin at 9:00 AM. The race will start on Pratt Street and finish on Chestnut Street right in front of the Springfield building entrance (just opposite of Pratt Street).

The course will take you up Chapin Terrace, through Van Horn Park and back - there will be signs and volunteers along the course to help direct participants. Light refreshments will be available.

Finisher medals will be awarded for first, second, and third place 5K finishers! This is a family-friendly event, children of all ages are welcome to come and join in on the fun. We look forward to seeing you there!

Logistics

Free parking is available in the Chestnut parking lot. Please arrive early so there is plenty of time to check-in at registration. Race day registration will be available, cash only. There will be a short award ceremony at the end, so stick around after the race!
