Bear Brook Trail Races

About the Race

We are excited to once again share the absolute beauty of Bear Brook State Park and all the trails it has to offer. From beautiful single track to steep uphills, and of course, the magnificent blueberry fields, Bear Brook has so much to offer no matter which of the races you choose.

The Bear Brook Trail Races will feature three outstanding races: a 10K following "Mindy's Loop", and of course, the Half Marathon and Marathon routes. In 2025, marathon runners will run the Half Marathon course twice. Maps will be available on race day and posted prior to the event on our Facebook page.

All races will have well-stocked aid stations with a variety of food items, water, and Tailwind. Please note that this is a NO CUP race - you must supply your own water bottles or soft flasks to refill along the course. We do not provide cups at the aid stations to keep littering in the park to a minimum.

2025 Course

Continuing in 2025, the Bear Brook Trail Races will be a GPX-only event. There will be minimal to no course markings. If you are not comfortable with this format, please do not sign up. Entrants will be required to download the course GPX and utilize that for navigation.

Cutoffs

There is no cutoff for the 10K or half marathon races but a 9-hour cutoff will be enforced for the marathon.

Dropping Out

Runners unable to complete the race must check-in to the nearest aid station to notify volunteers and turn in their bib number.

Refund Policy

Full refunds (less Ultrasignup fees) are available for cancellations made 60 days prior to the race date. Cancellations within 60 days may forfeit fees unless a deferment is requested.
