Beat the Manure 5K at the Guilford Fair

Location: 163 Fairground Rd, Guilford, VT 05301, US

Description: This 5K will be run on a hilly, loop course, on a widely varied mix of paved roads, dirt roads, and trails. With 226' of elevation gain, the first half of the course is mostly uphill. The second half is gradually downhill (with the exception of a very slight rise about 75 yards from the finish). There should be a fun, fast finish.

Prizes: Prizes will be given to the top overall female and male finishers, and to the first place female and male in each age group (12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+). The last finisher will be awarded a bag of local, composted horse manure!

Registration: In-person registration available until 7:45 AM on race day. Registration ends August 31, 2025 at 7:55 AM EDT.
