Beer City Half™ Long Beach

Join us on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at ShoreLine Aquatic Park for Beer City Half™ Long Beach! Our races run along the waterfront and head out and up the LA River. See the sights, run the trails, and drink the brews that make Long Beach a home base for beer lovers. Beer City Festival is a full day of fun. Drink local and dig it!

All runners receive a shirt, a Key to Beer City finisher's medal, and a custom tasting glass.

Beat the Beast
Beat the Beast is our special beer mile where you race others and one of our Beer City Beasts. Drink 4 12-oz beers while running a mile. If the T-Rex catches you, you're out of the race. Better move quickly! Beat the Beast takes place at Shoreline Park, starting at 11am.

Shindig
Once the running and T-Rexing is done, join us for SHINDIG, a Beer City party with music, food trucks, and games. Your ticket covers your first beer and is available at checkout when you register. The Shindig is Beer City HQ for the afternoon with fun games like The Beermazing Race, which challenges you to visit 5 brewers between 1pm and 5pm to drink a pint and find the clues to your next taproom.

Beer Trolley
Beer City proudly presents the Long Beach Beer Trolley. The Trolley runs between ShoreLine Park (the Start), ISM, Trademark Brewing, Ten Mile Brewing, Long Beach Beer Lab, and Belmont Brewing. You can hop on and off at any point. Your rides come through approximately every 45 minutes. If you're taking part in the Beermazing Race, this means you can hit all of the brewers in one afternoon! The Beer Trolley is FREE for registered runners and Lazy Friends. Reserve a spot at checkout.
