BHI 1st Annual 5K & Fun Run

This is the first annual 5K run and fun run to be held on Black Hammock Island on August 2nd, 2025. The race will be held entirely on the Island, and will feature a 5K run at 9AM and a fun run at 10AM. You can run and walk either event. The race will start and finish at the Black Hammock Island Community Center, 15770 Sawpit Road, Jax, FL 32226.

Race registration includes: a short sleeve T-shirt, a finisher medal, and a post-race back-to-school bash.

Awards: will be given to the top 3 overall M/F finishers of the 5K, and the top 3 M/F finishers in age groups 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. There are no awards for the fun run.

Packet pickup: will happen on race morning at the Black Hammock Island Community Center starting at 7:30 AM
